| Father Mark Schneider OSB celebrates seventy years of monastic profession. He was born on July 19, 1914, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and professed first vows on July 11, 1935. Father Mark spent most of his active life either teaching in the Preparatory School or as a chaplain at hospital and nursing homes in Minnesota where he is fondly remembered for his quick wit and gentle humor.
